The final sale of the year did not disappoint with strong interest for both bulls and heifers. The sale resulted in a 97.5% clearance for bulls, selling to an average of €6,494, and 100% clearance for the small number of young heifers on offer. With the prices achieved by commercial Limousin cattle at marts across the country week in, week out it is pleasing to see this trend echoed in the pedigree sales rings.

Judge for the sale was Mr. Kevin Graham of the renowned Liverpool herd which is based in Boyle, Co. Roscommon. Cattle bred by Kevin are regularly presented at society sales, where top prices have been achieved by cattle bearing the Liverpool prefix.

Our esteemed auctioneer George Candler once again took control of the podium, this time he was assisted by Darren Hession.

We would like to thank all bidders and purchasers at this and all our sales. We wish you all the best with your new Limousin livestock.

Thank you
