The British Limousin Society held their annual Red Ladies sale at Borderway mart in Carlisle last weekend. Irish eyes were smiling when the Milbrook Ginger Spice daughter “Grahams Malibu” was tapped forward as the Supreme Champion. Malibu was then sold for the top price of the Red Ladies sale at 25,000 gns.

Grahams Malibu’s is daughter of Ampertaine Elgin and the outstanding Milbrook Ginger Spice, she is one of three embryo calves with this lineage bred by Robert and Jean Graham from Bridge of Allan, Stirling.

Her dam Milbrook Ginger Spice was bred by William Smith, Oldcastle, Co. Meath. Ginger Spice’s dam Milbrook Baby (is a daughter of Brookmill Usefull Et and Milbrook Nightingale Et), her sire is the renowned Wilodge Vantastic.

Milbrook Ginger Spice has won many titles in her show career including the prestigious Interbreed Championship in Balmoral on three occasions, she has been crowned Champion at the National Livestock show in Tullamore twice.

Grahams Malibu and her full siblings Grahams Melody and Grahams Michael where shown at the Royal Highland show in June this year, at which Malibu and Melody took the top two placings in their class. Their brother Grahams Michael was awarded the Limousin Supreme Junior Bull and the overall Supreme Bull titles. Grahams Michael was presented at the Carlisle Show and sale in October where he took the Reserve Junior Championship before going on to sell for 20,000 gns.
