Cappamore show 2017 had an abundance of Commercial classes, including the Limousin Breeding Heifer of the year. This class was judged by Gareth McGuinness and was won by a Wilodge Joskins daughter from the herd of William Gubbins, Kilfinane, Co. Limerick.

This eye catching heifer also won coveted Overall Show Champion title for 2017.

The Moloney Family from Ardnacrusha, Co. Clare had the second prize winner.

Andrew and Catherine McCarthy, Mullagh, Co. Clare exhibited a young heifer calf by Ampertaine Commander in the Bonny Baby Calf of the Year, Male or Female, not exceeding 250kgs class. Their calf, on her first outing, took second place in this keenly contested class.

The Overall Commerical Champion went to William Gubbin’s Wilodge Joskins heifer.

The Reserve Overall Commercial Champion was a Haltcliffe Dancer son from local exhibitors Aidan and Eamon O’Donovan, Cappamore.
