As we travel through life we meet many people, many are casual acquaintances, but every now and again we come across someone that makes a much bigger impression on us. Those of us who were lucky enough to meet Tony Kelleher from Ballyvourney, Co. Cork met that person.

Tony was an honest, kind, decent person who brightened up your day when you met him.

He will always be remembered for his involvement in Ballyvourney Agricultural show. The hospitality tent that his wife Bernie and himself provided was unique. The Young Handler competition that he organised and treated the children so well was just brilliant.

His pictures and presence from the shows around the country are greatly missed.

As a valued member of the Cork Limousin club, his absence from the meetings is sorely missed.

To Bernie and Anthony junior, losing a family member is never easy. It is the one appointment you can’t cancel, but it is better to have loved and lost to never have loved at all.

We were lucky to have met you Tony.

Tony passed away on the 27th April 2024. Rest in Peace.
