The Pedigree Breeders Council of Ireland Awards ceremony was held in the Midlands Park Hotel, Tullamore on the 11th of February 2024.
Nominated by the Irish Limousin Cattle Society was the National Show Champion of 2023 Milbrook Nikkispice ET. This outstanding young cow was bred in county Meath by William Smith. Nikkiespice was also the overall Supreme Championship at the Fifty Anniversary Pedigree Show, which was held in Carrick-on-Shannon (30th September 2022 – 2nd October 2022). This was a weekend extravaganza to celebrate fifty years of Limousin breeding in Ireland.
Nikkispice is a daughter of Ampertaine Elgin and the renowned Milbrook Gingerspice (a Wilodge Vantastic daughter).
Recently elected IFA President – Francie Gorman was on hand to make the presentation to William Smith. We would like to congratulate the Smith family on this achievement.
