The 34th National Limousin Show, held on Sunday, August 10th in Tullamore, was an extraordinary showcase of the breed’s finest. The day was marked by a packed schedule and a large, enthusiastic crowd that filled the ringside for hours.
Exhibitors presented a huge number of entries across all classes, a clear testament to the commitment and passion within the Limousin community.
Meet the Judge: Mark Quick of Loosebeare
This year, we were honoured to have Mr. Mark Quick of the renowned Loosebeare herd in Devon take on judging duties for our 34th National Show. Mark is no stranger to the show ring, having previously judged the prestigious Balmoral Show in 2022.
The Loosebeare Limousin herd has a long history of success. They have clinched numerous show and sale championships, including a recent triumph with Loosebeare Tommy, a son of Ampertaine Jeronimo. Tommy was the pre-sale champion at the spring 2024 show and sale, fetching 35,000gns.
Irish breeders will be familiar with the influential sire Loosebeare Fantastic, whose notable sons include Foxhillfarm Jasper and Ampertaine Magnum. Beyond their Limousin cattle, the Quick family also manage a pedigree Texel sheep flock.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Mark for his invaluable time and expertise in judging our show and wish the entire team at Loosebeare continued success in all their endeavours.
Supreme Champion MULLARY Vabulous
2025 Supreme Champion Mullary Vabulous
This year’s Supreme Champion is Mullary Vabulous, a stunning heifer from Michael and Brodie Molloy’s herd in Dunleer, Co. Louth.
Born in May 2024, Vabulous’s impressive lineage includes sire Graiggoch Rambo and dam Mullary Pretty Woman Et (Sympa and Nenuphar in her pedigree).
Vabulous’s journey to the top commenced with first winning her class, the National Pedigree Registered Limousin Heifer Born between 01.04.2024 & 31.08.2024, before being named the Junior Female Champion. Her success continued as she was awarded the Pedigree Registered Limousin Female Champion title, leading to her crowning as the 2025 Supreme Limousin Champion.

Reserve Supreme Champion Liscarn Unique
Overall Supreme Reserve Champion Liscarn Unique
The title of Reserve Supreme Champion was awarded to Des Joyce of Strangeforth, Williamstown, Co. Galway for his exceptional heifer, Liscarn Unique.
Born in January 2023, Unique was bred by Philip Dunne of Bailieboro, Co. Cavan, before being purchased by Des in 2024 to join his Lisnageeragh herd. Unique is sired by Telfers Munster and out of Wilodge Oannie, with notable sires like Grahams Lorenzo, Sympa, and Ronick Iceman in her lineage.
Unique’s journey to the reserve championship included winning her class (National Pedigree Registered Limousin Heifer born between 01.01.23 & 30.06.2023), followed by being named the National Pedigree Registered Senior Limousin Female Champion. She then secured the Reserve Pedigree Registered Limousin Female Champion title before being crowned the 2025 Reserve FBD National Livestock Show Pedigree Registered Limousin Supreme Champion.

2025 National Overall Male Champion – Wood Road Vernon ET
Overall Champion Male Wood Road Vernon ET
The 2025 FBD National Livestock Show Pedigree Registered Limousin Overall Male Champion is the exceptional Wood Road Vernon Et, from the herd of Noel Fennessy of Castleconnell, Co. Limerick.
Vernon’s is a son of Ampertaine Elgin, and donor cow Wood Road Jacinta Et. Jacinta is a daughter of Wilodge Vantastic and the highly-regarded french breed Claque. Jacinta is also the dam of Wood Road Valentina Et, who won Class 75 and along with her full sister Wood Road Vera Et, took second place in the pairs class.
Vernon’s path to the championship included a win in his class (Class 61), followed by being named the National Pedigree Registered Senior Limousin Male Champion, culminating in the title of Overall Male National Show Champion 2025.
2025 National Reserve Overall Male Champion – Ardnacrusha Victorious
Reserve Overall Male Champion Ardnacrusha Victorious
The title of Reserve Overall Male Champion goes to Ardnacrusha Victorious, owned by the Moloney family of Ardnacrusha, Co. Clare.
Born in June 2024, Victorious is a son of Graiggoch Rambo and Ardnacrusha Mercedes. His dam, Mercedes, is a daughter of Wilodge Joskins and the celebrated cow Etole, who has produced numerous champions, including Ardnacrusha Hilarious Et and Meelickaduff Honda Et, the Supreme Limousin Champion at the 28th National Show. Victorious won class 62: National Pedigree Registered Limousin Bull Born on/between 01.05.204 & 31.08.2024, he took the Reserve Champion in the National Pedigree Registered Senior Limousin Male Championship.
Junior Male Champion Carrickmore Vanttheman ET
In the male section the National Junior Male Champion for 2025 is Carrickmore Vantheman Et, a son of the prolific previous show champion Baileys Iceprincess and Trueman Idol. Vantheman won his class – National Pedigree Registered Limousin Bull born on/between 01.09.24 & 31.10.24. He was bred in Oldcastle, Co. Meath by the Connell Brothers.
Reserve Junior Champion Asheburn Vantastic ET
Standing as Reserve National Junior Male Champion was the September 2024 born Asheburn Vantastic Et, from the herd of Frank and David Byrne, Naas, Co. Kildare. Vantastic is a son of Ampertaine Magnum and Ardela Leanne Et.
Reserve Junior Female Champion Meenross Annabelle
The exceptional Claddagh Mccabe ET daughter Meenross Annabelle was crowned Reserve Junior Female Champion. Annabelle was bred in Scariff, Co. Clare by James O’Grady. She caught the eye of show judge Mark in the Heifer Calf Born in 2025 class. Annabelle’s dam Meenross Mojo is a daughter of Ronick Hawk and Castleview Felicity (an exceptional breeder and mother to Meenross Ringleader ET, the Reserve Senior Male Champion at the Irish Limousin 50th Anniversary show).
