Kilkenny Agricultural Society Limited hold three multi-breed Bull sales – in March, April and May. The sales are held at Kilkenny Co-Op Livestock Market, Cillín Hill, Kilkenny. The sales have bulls from seven different breeds – Hereford, Friesian, Simmental, Aberdeen Angus, Charolais and Limousin. Well known auctioneer George Candler took the podium for the Limousin bulls.
March Sale
For the March sale, which was held on Wednesday the 21st the average selling price for the Limousin bulls sold was €2,668.
