Young Handlers Showmanship Basics Event in conjunction with Tullamore Show

Tullamore Show is delighted the announce our very first Young Handlers Event “Showmanship Basics”.
All Young Handlers are invited.
We would like to welcome both new and existing Young Handlers to our first ever Young Handlers event in Dairy, Beef and Sheep
This event will help young handlers gain knowledge and skills needed to prepare them for the showing season ahead.
It will covers demonstrations and discussions on washing, clipping, showing and much much more.
We are also delighted to Launch the Tullamore Show and FBD National livestock Show 2024 on the day. This is a FREE event, and we would like everyone to register on our website using the following link: www.tullamoreshow.com
The registration portal will be open from Monday, the 1st of April. Remember this is a FREE event.

This event will welcome new and existing young handler across Dairy, Beef and Sheep to gain additional knowledge, learn new skills and prepare for the showing season ahead.
There will many demonstrations and discussions through the day covering many areas which include the following:
- Grooming ( Washing & Clipping)
- Showing
- Safety awareness – safety knot etc
- Photography tips – Getting the correct photo that showcase your animal.
- Showing etiquette and attire
There will be several animals present on the day and Young Handlers can interact with the animals and demonstrations.
