Limousin Breeding Heifer of the Year Competition in association with Cappamore Show

Class 22 at Cappamore Show is the Limousin Breeding Heifer of the Year which is held in association with the Irish Limousin Society.

This class has a prize fund in excess of €1000. Confined to non-pedigree heifers with no permanent teeth on Show Day. Must state LMX on card and display strong Limousin characteristics. Animals will be judged on potential to produce a calf for high priced markets.

The show offers many cattle classes with great prize money on offer. Entries close next Wednesday the 14th of August.

• Class 43: Pedigree Female, born after 1st Jan. 2024
• Class 44: Pedigree Heifer, born after 1st Jan 2022 to 31 Aug 2023
• Class 45: Bonny Baby Pedigree Male or Female Calf born on or after 1st March 2024
• Class 46:  Limousin Champion, open to 1st Prize winners in classes 40-45
