Shane Murphy of the Irish Farmers Journal has penned an excellent profile of the Milbrook Limousin herd.
The herd is highly regarded in all livestock circles. The prefix Milbrook is known the length and breadth of the country and further afield.
Bulls bred by the Smith family include Milbrook Tanko (TKO) and Milbrook Alistair, whose son is the very popular Elderberry Galahad (EBY).
One of the best known and easily recognised Limousin’s on the island of Ireland is the outstanding show cow Milbrook Ginger Spice – this lady needs no introduction having excelled in the show ring on both sides of the border.
