The key objective of the ILCS Replacement Breeding Programme is to breed future cows for the Limousin suckler herd.

The selection criteria focus on cow traits including calving ease, milking ability, mothering ability, gestation length and fertility while also maintaining focus on the carcass and beefing traits.
