Ballybrown Unamine Champion Limousin at Cappamore show 2024

Cappamore show was held on Saturday 17th August in Portnard. An excellent display of super Limousin cattle were presented to show judge Sean Maher of the Parkhill predigree herd based in county Kilkenny.

Sean’s pick as 2024 Champion was the Ampertaine Magnum daughter BALLYBROWN UNAMINE from the Limerick based herd of Bobby O’Connell. Born in July 2023, Unamine is enjoying a very successful showing season, just last week she won her class in a very strong lineup at the 33rd National Show.

Standing in Reserve was KNOCKCOOLKEARE UNICORN ET from Micheal Roche, Mountcollins. Unicorn is a November 2023 born daughter of Westpit Omaha and the Ampertaine Commander cow Castleview Gail.

Winner Class 40 – Pedigree Male, born on or after 1st Sept. 2023 to 31st December 2023 – Knockcoolkeare Unstopabull ET, a son of Ampertaine Foreman from the herd of Micheal Roche, Mountcollins.

 

 

Winner Class 41 – Pedigree Female, born on or after 1st Sept. 2023 to 31st December 2023 – Knockcoolkeare Unicorn ET, a daughter of Westpit Omaha from the herd of Micheal Roche, Mountcollins. Unicorn was crowned Reserve Champion Limousin.

Class 42 – Pedigree Male, born after 1st January 2024 – Shanderg Voltage Et from the herd of Cathal Tuohy, Whitegate. Voltage is as son of Derrygullinane Kingbull.

Class 43: Pedigree Female, born after 1st January 2024 – Finboy Vixen from the herd of Tom Harney. Vixen is a daughter of Ampertaine Forman.

Class 44: Pedigree Heifer born after 1st January 2022 to 31st August 2023 – Winner – Ballybrown Unamine from the herd of Bobby O’Connell. Unamine is a daughter of Ampertaine Magnum. Unamine was crowned Limousin Champion.

 

 

Class 45: Bonny Baby Pedigree Male or Female Calf born on or after 1st March 2024 – Winner Ballybrown Verygood from the herd of Bobby O’Connell. Verygood is a son of JK Miro and Roundhill Punanime 1945 Et.
