Ennis mart held a multibreed bull show and sale on Monday the 15th of April 2024. Judging the classes was the society Vice President Michael McInerney of the Brickhill herd based in Cratloe.
Michael’s choice as champion was the Ampertaine Elgin son FAIRHILL TULLA from Anthony Moloney, Feakle. This stylish bull has many five star ratings including Terminal index, Docility, Carcass weight, Carcass confirmation. His dam Fairhill Holly is a daughter of Plumtree Fantastic.
Selling for €4,050 was LAVALLA TONY from the local herd of Kevin Crowley. Tony is a son of Ampertaine Magnum and the Sympa daughter Lavalla Katherine. He has five star ratings in Terminal index, Carcass weight and Carcass Conformation.
From the same yard came LAVALLA TYSON a son of Progressive Genetics Powerful Proper. Tyson carries five star ratings in Replacement index, Carcass conformation and Daughter milk. His homebred dam Lavalla Noreen has Ronick Hawk and Sympa in her sire stack. Tyson sold for €3,750.
Multi-starred DRUMLINE T 1220 sold for €3,675. T 1220 was bred by James Hannon, Bunratty. GLENCARRIGH URI, a January 2023 born bull from the herd of from Anthony Glynn, Gort, Galway, sold for €3,300. Uri has Ewdenvale Ivor, Haltcliffe Gunner, Farmleigh Kenny and Milbrook Tanko in his pedigree.
