All Star award 2025 recipent Ernevalley Temptress

On Saturday 1st of March 2025 the Pedigree Breeders Council held the fourth annual all-stars awards in the Midlands Park Hotel in Portlaoise. Presenter for the evening was former RTE broadcaster Mr. Damien O’Reilly – the current ICOS EU Affairs manager based in Brussels. The worthy recipient of the Limousin all-star was the outstanding heifer Ernevalley Temptress from the herd of Eddie and Ben Lynch, Loughduff, Co. Cavan.

The all-star award will add to the plaudits Temptress has already won. She is the Supreme Champion from the 33rd National Limousin Show, held in August in Tullamore. From the outset once she entered the ring in Tullamore she commanded the attention of a packed ringside and duly impressed show judge Henry Savage Jnr. She first clinched victory in her age class before going on to secure the Senior Female Champion title, followed by the Overall Female Champion accolade and finally culminating in the 2024 Supreme Champion title.

Temptress is an outstanding heifer and a fantastic example of the Limousin breed. This heifer has it all – width, length and style. Her femininity, correctness, and sheer presence made her a standout in a fiercely competitive show ring.

Temptress boasts a pedigree which combines generations of exceptional breeding, she is sired by Leopard and out of the homebred Ernevalley Naughty Girl ET—a daughter of the renowned Haltcliffe Vermont.

Temptress’s success was a just reward for the Lynch family’s dedication, and commitment to breeding outstanding Limousin cattle.
