Young Members Association
The Irish Limousin Cattle Society has had a short – yet very successful – history developing the Irish Limousin breed. Breeders have used their world-renowned skills and expert breeding knowledge – that has been passed down through generations – to develop and improve Irish Limousin genetics.
As a society, we understand the responsibility and importance of developing the next generation of expert breeders that will continue to improve, develop and promote the breed going forward.
Through the Irish Limousin Young Members’ Association (YMA), we give the next generation of breeders the knowledge, skills and the tools needed to breed and show Limousin cattle.
Each year, the society will run YMA events and workshops at different times, and we encourage all young people whether they come from a farming background or not to get involved.
