DESCRIPTION:South West and Cork Limousin Club’s high genetic breeding heifer sale\, consisting of 40 quality heifers and 8 embryos\, will take place at Roscrea Mart and online on Martbids.ie  on Saturday\, September 2nd\, 2023. Viewing will take place from 12.00pm with the sale commencing at 2.00pm. \nA catalogue can be viewed HERE. \nAccording to the organisers\, this sale will provide you with an excellent opportunity to purchase an elite\, high genetic breeding Limousin heifer. \nTransportation to Northern Ireland and mainland UK will be arranged. Herd health is critical for all breeder and is at the forefront for this sale. Dams of all heifers and heifers over 24 months are tested free of Johnes. Many of the heifers are from herds participating in a herd health program. \nFrom an index perspective\, this catalogue is one of the best group of heifers offered for sale for many years. If you are a new breeder\, the heifers offers you the opportunity to purchase your foundation female. There are heifers suitable for all enterprises including the show ring\, breeding the best pedigrees or commercials. \nThirty-one AI sires are represented in the catalogue providing a huge genetic selection.
