DESCRIPTION:The North Eastern Limousin Club is looking forward to welcoming breeders from across Ireland to its Extravaganza Weekend at Virginia Show Centre\, Co. Cavan\, on Saturday 29th August 2026. \nThe event will showcase the very best of the breed through Herd Competition\, Live Heifer Sale\, YMA event and the exciting €10\,000 Mega Moo Competition. \nHerd competition 2026  \nPrize giving for the 2026 Herd Competition will be held on the evening of our Extravaganza event in the Virginia show centre. \nMegaMoo \nThe club MegaMoo competition is part of the extravaganza. \nHeifer sale  \nAs part of our Limousin extravaganza weekend the club will be holding a live pre-inspected pedigree female sale on the night in conjunction with Ballyjamesduff mart. \nThe Sale will commence at 7.30pm live in the show centre\, with bidding also available via Marteye. \n➡️Click here to view the pedigree lots⬅️\nYMA Finals

DESCRIPTION:Our October Premier Show & Sale of 2026 takes place at Roscrea Mart on Monday 26th\, 2026. \nPremier show and sale of Males and Females. \nAll animals at this event will be Export Tested\, and Genotyped\, bulls will be Fertility Tested. \nShow & Sale Schedule\n\nShow of Heifers: Sunday\, 25th October at 6:30 PM\nShow of Bulls: Monday\, 26th October at 8:30 AM\nSale Commences: Monday\, 26th October at 12:30 PM (Sharp)\n\nNorthern Ireland \nCattle will be exported post sale to Northern Ireland and will not be required to comply with the 42-day pre-export rule. \nTransport: Animals can be transported to one dropoff location in NI at the expense of the Irish Limousin Cattle Society. \nNorthern Irish potential customers please ensure you are registered on the Traces system with the N.I. Ministry of Agriculture. \nCattle will be exported post sale to Northern Ireland and will not be required to comply with the 42-day pre-export rule. \nTransport: Animals can be transported to one dropoff location in NI at the expense of the Irish Limousin Cattle Society. \nNorthern Irish potential customers please ensure you are registered on the Traces system with the N.I. Ministry of Agriculture. \nBulls sold to Northern Ireland will have 4.5% of the selling price withheld by the Society. If the purchaser insures the bull and provides a receipt to the Society within 30 days of the sale\, the Society will forward the 4.5% to the purchaser. If the insurance receipt is not furnished to the Society within 30 days\, the 4.5% will be returned to the seller. \nPurchasers from UK (excluding NI) \nTo comply with the 42-day pre-export rule\, the Society has arranged lairage. Animals will be transported to the lairage free of charge. \nLairage and transport to the UK will be at the purchaser’s expense. \nThe animal can be transported to the UK (Andrew Ewing’s yard) once the 42-days pre-export period has elapsed. \nFertility Insurance: As a result of Brexit\, our insurers FBD can no longer offer fertility insurance to UK based purchasers. \nBulls sold to UK will have 4.5% of the selling price withheld by the Society. If the purchaser insures the bull and provides a receipt to the Society within 30 days of the sale\, the Society will forward the 4.5% to the purchaser.
