iceprincessWell known showing brothers Karl and John Connell Oldcastle Co.Meath were  beaming as brightly as the sun above Balmoral show grounds when they saw their entry Baileys  Ice Princess crowned Supreme Limousin Champion at yesterday’s event.

Princess an April 2013 born animal was bred by Tom Bailey Batterstown Co. Meath, she is by the herd sire Baileys Darwin, himself by Curraghree Vantheman with back breeding to Meridien and the Nenuphar sired dam Roundhill Vjoyeuse 820 ET.

Standing Overall Reserve Champion was the Trueman Jagger from H.Savage & Sons , Co. Down. This April 14 born son of Ampertaine Gigilo is by a homebred dam Trueman Grazia.

Longford based breeder Martin Davis  from Ballinalee and Robert Graham, Scotland  saw their entry  Poolehall Isabelle awarded Reserve Female Champion, born in October 2013 she was sired by Haltcliffe Ben and by the dam Wilodge Flawless.

Congratulations to Balmoral Inter breed Group of 3 winners - Baileys Ice Princess owned by the Connell Brothers, Poolehall Isabelle owned by Martin Davis & Robert Graham and Trueman Jagger owned by Henry Savage & Sons.

Further congratulations to the Connell Brothers and Geoffrey Rogers who were crowned Reserve Champions in the Balmoral Interbreed Pairs Championship.
